Whether in consultation with scientific advisory boards of the German government, handing over policy papers to the Federal Chancellery or as a participant on political panels: over the course of its first mandate period, the wpn2030 has launched a wide range of dialog and participation formats, has framed policy recommendations – and has, in doing so, decisively strengthened the exchange and interaction between science, politics, and civil society on the topic of “sustainability”.
The activity report for the first mandate period (2017-2021) now has been published and provides insight about the objectives, results, formats for dialog and participation, and the commitment by which representatives from science, business, politics, and society have contributed to the discourse on sustainability.
