Prof. Dennis J. Snower is President of the the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and Professor of Economics at the University of Kiel. He is an internationally renowned expert on employment policy, the design of welfare systems, monetary and fiscal policy, and the role of psychological motivation systems in economic decision-making. He advises international organisations and national governments on macroeconomic policy, employment policy, and welfare state policy.
He is a member of the steering committee of the Science Platform Sustainability 2030.
